Dr Tommy Wong is a respected executive coach and brand engagement strategist with over 30 years of experience strengthening leadership, engagement, and capability development across corporate, government, and academic sectors.

With a PhD in Strategic Management and Branding and an MBA in International Business, Tommy brings a distinctive ability to align organisational purpose with inclusive, contemporary leadership. His work empowers individuals and teams to navigate complexity, improve impact, and lead with purpose.

As Director of Dr Wong Advisory, Tommy collaborates with CEOs, senior executives, and not-for-profit leaders to shape strategy, build leadership confidence, and future-proof operations. He has developed and delivered cross-sector leadership programs that combine behavioural insight, reflective practice, and adaptive learning principles—building leadership strength across all levels of an organisation.

Tommy is passionate about fostering strong, community-based outcomes. He has designed volunteer leadership and engagement programs for not-for-profit organisations, supporting capability building and succession planning for long-term service impact.

His background includes leadership roles such as MBA Director at the University of Tasmania, where he led program redesign to reflect sustainability, organisational transformation, and contemporary leadership needs. He has delivered executive education across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, specialising in cross-cultural negotiation and leadership engagement.

Tommy also served as a Non-Executive Director at the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he chaired the Finance, Governance, Audit and Risk, and Membership Committees. During a period of significant economic and operational change, he enhanced the Chamber’s risk, governance, and member engagement strategy.

A Certified Project Director and Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, Tommy supports individuals and organisations to lead with clarity, connect with purpose, and grow through complexity.
